We are excited to announce that the Chattanooga Hungry Turkey has come together with Thanksgiving runs from around the nation to from a multi city running festival called the American Turkey Tradition. Now, in addition to running with everyone at your local event you will be able to come together with runners from around the country in the World’s Largest Thanksgiving running festival:

Option 1: Get your packet mailed right to your door for $12.99 (limited time availability).
Option 2: Packet pick up will be available on Wednesday, November 27, from 11:00 p.m. – 5:00 .pm. at:

Picking up someone else’s packet, don’t forget you must bring their signed waiver.
Option 3: Event day packet pick up (not suggested).
Participant gear must be picked up at pre-event packet pick up or on event day. If you do not pick up your participant gear there will be a fee to have it mailed to you: Post-race event gear registration
Create a TEAM OF TURKEYS, Get rewards!
Create a team, give it a name and get as many people as possible to be a part of your team.
1. Grow your team to 7 participants and get a free can cooler.
2. Get voted “best team name” in your city and win free registrations to 2020’s Turkey Trot (limit $1,000).
-Best Chattanooga team name voting will take place in November. VOTE HERE.
*Free registration is for 2019 team members only and is non-transferable.
Awards will be awarded to the top 3 participants, male and female in each age group and overall.
Participant must be present on event day to receive medal.
Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 & 70+
Kids Dash finisher award to all participants.
If you do not pick up your medal there will be a $5 fee to have it mailed to you: Post race medal request registration.
There will be pacers to help you achieve your goal time. Pacers will be at the start holding a sign of the pace they will be consistently running. Run with these pacers and they will help keep you on track to achieve your goal. That’s right, these pacers are dedicated to helping lead you to one of the goal times listed below:
HALF MARATHON PACE TIMES
2:00:00 (9:10 per mile)
2:05:00 (9:32 per mile)
2:30:00 (11:26 per mile)
3:00:00 (13:44 per mile)

Join the fun as a volunteer. All volunteers receive a free event shirt. Volunteers can help with water stations, course marshaling, registration or similar

This event is chip timed. Your “chip” is integrated with your bib. You must wear your bib on your front across your stomach to be electronically timed.
Runners and walkers can participate in this event as long as the participant can finish within the event time limit, see the schedule above.
All participants are required to read and sign the event waiver form.
It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they do not impair their ability to hear, see, sense, and detect present or potential hazards and dangers.
If at any time you are in need of assistance throughout the event please notify a volunteer or course monitor.
No dogs. Strollers are allowed for walkers only after all other runners and walkers have started. Children in strollers must be wearing helmets.
Half marathon aid stations will provide water and sports drink. The 5K aid stations will provide water.

If you ordered your race packet to be mailed to you, it will typically arrive 1-4 days before the event. It will be sent to the address you entered during registration. If your package does not arrive before the event day, please come to the event day packet pick up where you will be re-assigned your bib and gear.
The event will start rain, snow or shine. The event could be delayed due to lightning or other dangerous conditions. The above schedule is weather dependent. Trail conditions could be variable.
You can transfer to a different distance within the same race up to 3 days before the event. If you are transferring to a more expensive race you’ll have to pay the difference of the registration fees.
You can transfer your registration/bib # to another participant for $6 up to 3 days before the event.
You can defer your registration to next year’s race or any other TennesseeRuns.com’s race for $6 up to 17 days before the event. After that, you can still defer for $15 until the day prior to packet pick up. Please send us an e-mail to request a deferment.
You can manage your event shirt size and any other add-ons up to 10 days before the event

*We may not be in the office on Mondays or Fridays due to being on-site for events.
